I have been making films since I was young; from playing with a camera and adding comical voiceover on home movies to exchanging school projects for videos. This was natural to me. With a camera I could capture what I see and express myself.

I have made several short films exploring the child welfare system and LBGT stories. I enjoy filming and capturing life as it is happening. Every moment thinking in terms of angles, light, and sound. Working later to ethically weave entertaining story lines with social undertones together that stay true to the subject matter. This process has included at times turning the camera on my life using the personal is political to obtain access. Using documentary filmmaking to explore everyday humanity in humor, crisis and experiences that are visceral to affect change.
